Earth is in for a rare treat this weekend.

According to NASA, a full moon, penumbral lunar eclipse, and comet sighting will all be available for view... weather permitting.

The full moon will be visible Friday night, penumbral eclipse at moonrise Saturday, and comet 45P should be visible with binoculars and telescopes Saturday evening.

A penumbral eclipse involves the moon traveling through Earth's inner shadow cast from the sun.

Comet 45P, according to NASA, will make its closest approach to Earth (7.4 million miles) shortly after sunset.
